ABOUT ORGANIZATION

Trnava University follows the traditions of one of the oldest universities in Central Europe. Universitas Tyrnaviensis of the years 1635-1777, was established by the Cardinal-Primate Pázmány Péter. It was reestablished by the law of the Slovak National Council No. 191/1992. The Academic Senate of the University approved and established the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Education. The Faculty of Public  Health and Social Work was established in 1994. The Institute of Theology of the Sciety of Jesus (Aloisianum) joined Trnava University on September  1, 1994, from which the Theological Faculty was established on October 23, 1997.  In September 1998 the Faculty of Law was established.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT

Trnava University is a contractor who signs up the contract with Slovak academic association for international cooperation - National agency of the lifelong learning programme. Trnava University is responsible for the content of project, delivering of the results, and coordination of reports as well as financial part of the project.

Trnava University putted together work team, who is involved in the project and consist of:

Martin Rusnák

University professor, a medical and public health professional focused on quality of public health services and medical care, health systems in low income countries, health system research, with extensive experience from working on international development projects concerning public health, health systems and medical care.

Adriana Ondrušová

University professor, medical and public health professional focused on public health, medicine, health care and health systems in low income countries, with several years of experience from working within international development projects especially in Africa.

Ladislav Bučko

Ondrej Botek

University associated professor focused on social work, social policy, social conditions among migrants, minorities with experience in social work and health care in low income countries especially in Asia.

Martina Žáková

Marek Majdan

Public health professional focused on epidemiology, biostatistics and enviromental health with experience in implementing projects of international development concerning issues of public health and health systems.

Daniela Kállayová

Public health professional with experience in qualitative research in public health, designing, planning and implementing of intervention programs, health promotion, communication with the community, experience in participation in international projects, scientific publications in the field of public health.

Eva Nemčovská

Public health professional with experience in the field of epidemiology, occupational health, data analysis, objectification of factors in occupational environment.

Alena Uríčková

Professional with a focus on quality in nursing practice, with experience in oncology nursing, in prevention of cervical cancer and with a professional interest in multicultural nursing and intercultural communication.

Lenka Jančovičová

Professional with a focus on social work and development with experience in international development projects focused on education, social and health issues in low income countries especially in Africa.

Juraj Jančovič

Professional with a focus on social work and development with experience in international development projects focused on education, social and health aspects of various social groups in low income countries especially in Africa.
